  1. Egg     5    no.
  2. Maida     1½    cups
  3. Sugar     ¾    cup
  4. Cardamom(Elakka) Powder     ½    tsp
  5. Ghee     1    tbsp


  1. In a bowl, beat together eggs, sugar and cardamon powder on high speed for about 10 minutes.
  2. Then add maida into it and mix together without any lumps.
  3. Grease a deep bottomed non stick pan with ghee, pour the mixture, cover and cook in low flame for about 15- 20 minute or when knife or fork inserted in the center comes out clean. Switch off the flame.
  4. Heat another frying pan, grease with little ghee and turn the cake upside down into this pan and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Cut and serve with tea.
