  1. Grated Coconut     1    cup
  2. Small Onion / Shallot     3    nos.
  3. Green Chillies     2    nos.
  4. Ginger     1    piece
  5. Curry Leaves     1    stalk
  6. Salt to taste     ½    tsp


  1. Grind together all the ingredients without water to a thick paste.
  2. Chammanthi is ready.Remove chammanthi to a bowl
  3. Serve it with best combinations.
