  1. Minced Meat     ¼    Kg
  2. Onion     3    nos.
  3. Green Chillies     5    nos.
  4. Ginger Garlic Paste     2    tsp
  5. Coriander Powder     1    tsp
  6. Red Chilli Powder     1    tsp
    1. Cinnamon Pieces (Patta)      14    cm
    2. Cardamom Seeds (Elakka)      3    nos.
    3. Cloves (Kariampo)      4    nos.
    4. Cumin Seeds      ½    tsp
    5. Aniseed (Perinjeerakam)      ½    tsp
    1. Tomato      2    nos.
  7. Coriander Leaves     1    stalk
  8. Oil     1    tsp


  1. Wash and drain the minced meat. Keep it aside.
  2. Chop the onions, tomatoes and green chillies
  3. Heat oil in pan and fry the onions until its transparent.
  4. Add the ginger-garlic paste and mix it well.
  5. Add meat and all the other ingredients except coriander leaves and garam masala powder. Fry for 2 minutes.
  6. Add 1/2 cup of water and salt. Cook on a low fire until the meat is well cooked
  7. Grind all the ingredients in no:7 and prepare the garam masala powder.
  8. Add the garam masala and coriander leaves into the cooked kheema.
  9. Kheema curry is ready to serve.
