  1. Wheat Flour (Atta)     2    cup
  2. Water     1    cup
  3. Coconut Oil     4    tsp


  1. Mix wheat flour,oil(3tsp) and salt.
  2. Slowly add the cold water and knead, making a soft dough.
  3. Shape dough into a ball and rub a few drops of oil.
  4. Cover with a damp cloth and keep aside for 1-2 hours.
  5. Divide the dough into 10 portions and roll each one into a round ball.
  6. Dip a flattened ball into the dry flour and coat it on all sides.
  7. Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball into a round shape.
  8. Keep dipping the dough into the dry flour while rolling so it doesn’t stick.
  9. Heat the Tawa on medium heat.
  10. Place the rolled chapatti on the Tawa.
  11. When bubbles start to form, flip the chapatti over.
  12. After about 10-15 seconds, smear the chapatti with a little oil and flip over.
  13. With a spatula, press the chapatti to make it balloon up.
  14. Smear the other side with a little oil and flip over again.
  15. Keep pressing on the bubbles gently to make the entire chapatti rise up.
  16. Chapatti is ready.Serve it with best combination.
