Vegetable-Paneer Korma

  1. Paneer -Cut into small pieces    200    g
  2. Onion     2    no.
  3. Tomatoes     1    no.
  4. Ginger paste    1    tsp
  5. Garlic paste    1    tsp
  6. Poppey Seeds     1    tbsp
  7. Coconut Powder    1    tbsp
  8. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  9. Red Chilli Powder     1    tsp
  10. Black pepper     5    no.
  11. Cloves (Kariampo)     4    no.
  12. Garam Masala Powder    2    tsp
  13. Turmeric Powder     1    tsp
  14. Coriander Powder     1    tsp
  15. Cream     3    tbsp
  16. Coriander Leaves     2    stalks


  1. Heat oil in a pan,paneer cubed fry on medium heat till slightly brown. keep it aside.
  2. Next fry cloves and black pepper in the remaining oil. Add finely chopped onion, coconut powder, paste of poppy seeds to it.
  3. Continuously fry till the mixture starts separating from oil.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and heat for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and fry it for approximately 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add finely chopped tomato to it. Cook it till the mixture thickens.
  7. Then add some water to make thick gravy.
  8. Bring the gravy to boil and then cook for 4-5 minutes.
  9. Add paneer pieces and heat for 3-4 minutes.
  10. Granish with cream and finely chopped coriander leaves
  11. Serve it hot with best combinations.
