  1. Ripe Banana     5    no.
  2. Maida     1    cup
  3. Sugar     ½    cup
  4. Turmeric Powder     ¼    tsp
  5. Corn Flour     1    tsp
  6. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  7. Water     ½    cup
  8. Oil for frying    1    cup


  1. Peel ripe bananas and slice it into half cm thick pieces.
  2. Mix flour with 1/2 cup water to make a smooth batter.
  3. Add the sugar, turmeric and salt.
  4. Heat oil in a kadhai, dip banana slices in batter and deep fry till golden brown.
  5. Drain and serve hot.
