  1. Palak (spinach)     1    cup
  2. Wheat Flour (Atta)     2    cup
  3. Gram Flour(Besan Flour)     ½    cup
  4. Onion finely chopped    ½    cup
  5. Green Chillies     5    no.
  6. Ginger     1    pieces
  7. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  8. Oil for frying    1    cup


  1. Boil spinach, drain water.
  2. In a blender grind spinach, green chili, ginger and onion to prepare smooth paste.
  3. Make a fine paste of blanch palak, now add the little water if required.
  4. Make dough with wheat flour, gram flour,salt and palak paste.
  5. Make small balls of the dough and roll into puri.
  6. Deep fry the puri’s in the hot oil until they are golden brown.
  7. Poori is ready serve it hot.
