  1. Aval     2    cup
  2. Green Beans     ½    cup
  3. Sweet Corn     ½    cup
  4. Carrot -chopped    ½    cup
  5. Beans -chopped    ½    cup
  6. Coconut grated    2    tbsp
  7. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  8. For seasoning
    1. Onion  -chopped    1    no.
    2. Green Chillies  -chopped    2    nos.
    3. Ginger  -chopped    1    pieces
    4. Curry Leaves      1    stalks
    5. Mustard Seeds      1    tsp
    6. Urad Dal(Uzhunnuparippu)      1    tsp
    7. Bengal gram      1    tsp
    8. Peanuts      1    tsp
    9. Dry Red Chillies      2    no.
    10. Oil      2    tbsp


  1. Wash Aval and soak it with enough water above Aval for 30 minutes.
  2. As Aval used is thick variety, soaking will make it soft.
  3. Wash and put vegetables in a pressure cooker with pinch of salt and cook for one whistle.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds.
  5. Add the 15-18 ingredients stir it well till all are fried.
  6. Add onion, ginger, green chilli, curry leaves and salt.
  7. Now add boiled vegetables and soaked aval mix well.
  8. Then add grated coconut few mintues stir it well.
  9. Serve it hot.
