  1. Boneless mackerel(Ayala) Cooked    ½    Kg
  2. Turmeric Powder     ½    tsp
  3. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  4. To Grind
    1. Small Onion / Shallot      10    nos.
    2. Ginger      1    pieces
    3. Garlic      5    nos.
    4. Green Chillies      7    nos.
  5. Onion  Finely Chopped     1    no.
  6. Ginger     1    pieces
  7. Garlic     5    no.
  8. Green Chillies     5    no.
  9. Coriander Leaves -chopped    2    stalks
  10. Curry Leaves -chopped    1    stalks
  11. Corn Flour     2    tbsp
  12. Beaten Egg Whites     1    nos.


  1. Cook the fish with salt and enough water and grind the paste keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add onion, ginger, garlic and green chillies coriander leaves , curry leaves stir it well.
  3. Add the cooked mashed fish and corn flour mix it well and remove from fire.
  4. Roll the mixture in a finger shape with the hand the egg white roll mix.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry it.
  6. Serve it hot with chilli sauce and tomato ketchup.
