  1. Egg     5    no.
  2. Turmeric Powder     ½    tsp
  3. Salt to taste    ½    tsp
  4. Chopped Onion     1    no.
  5. Green Chillies -chopped    2    no.
  6. Roasted Cashew Nuts     2    tbsp
  7. For The Seasoning
    1. Oil      2    tbsp
    2. Curry Leaves      2    stalk
    3. Mustard Seeds      1    tsp
    4. Urad Dal(Uzhunnuparippu)      1    tsp


  1. Beat the eggs with the turmeric powder and salt. Set aside.
  2. For the seasoning, Put the oil in a skillet over medium heat. When the oil is hot but not smoking, add the remaining seasoning ingredients. Fry over medium heat, till mustard seeds splutter and the dal is golden; about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the cnions and green chilli.Stir- fry for a minute.
  4. Add the beaten eggs to the skillet. Stir continuously, till eggs are cooked.
  5. You may add cashew halves after the eggs are cooked. Toss and serve hot.
