  1. Bamboo Rice (Mula Ari)     1    cup
  2. Sugar     1    cup
  3. Coconut Milk (Second Milk)    3    cup
  4. Coconut Milk (First Milk)     1    cup
  5. Condensed Milk     1    cup
  6. Cardamom(Elakka) Powder     1    tsp
  7. Roasted Cashew Nuts     25    g
  8. Roasted Raisins (Unakka Munthiri)     25    g


  1. Cook the bamboo rice with second coconut milk.
  2. Add condensed milk and sugar. Keep stirring till the mixture thicken to a semi solid consistency.
  3. Finally add the first milk and simmer it for a while.
  4. Add crushed cardamom and mix it.
  5. Garnish with nuts and raisins and serve it.
