  1. Toor Dal     2    cups
  2. Masoor dal     1    cup
  3. Onion -chopped    2    nos.
  4. Ginger -chopped    2    pieces
  5. Green Chillies -chopped    6    nos.
  6. Curry Leaves     3    stalks
  7. Oil for deep frying    1    cup


  1. Wash and soak dals separately for four hours.
  2. Drain and grind to make a paste.
  3. Add onion,gree chillies,ginger curry leaves and salt.
  4. Mix it well and keep it aside.
  5. Make shape like vada and deep fry it.
  6. Serve it hot.
