Ingredients: 

  1. Batter
    1. Rice Powder      ¼    cup
    2. Gram Flour(Besan Flour)      1    cup
    3. Salt      1    tsp
    4. Soda Bicarbonate      ¼    tsp
    5. Red Chilli Powder      ¼    tsp
    6. Asafoetida  Powder    ¼    tsp
    7. Turmeric Powder      ¼    tsp
  2. Potato - peeled and sliced     1    no.
  3. Onion - peeled and sliced     1    no.
  4. Raw Banana - peeled and sliced     1    no.
  5. Brinjal -sliced    1    no.
  6. Oil For deep frying     1    cup

Description:
 

  1. Mix all the batter ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Gradually add about 1 cup of water to make a smooth, thick batter. Set aside for about 30 minutes.
  3. Coat the selected vegetable slices by dipping them in the batter.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet or wok. Fry a few slices at a time over medium heat, till they are golden brown on both sides.
  5. Drain bajji on paper towels and serve with any chutney.
