  1. Ada (Available in Market)     150    g
  2. Jaggery(Sarkkara)     ½    Kg
  3. Coconut Milk (First Milk)     2    cups
  4. Coconut Milk (Second Milk)    4    cups
  5. Ghee     1    tbsp
  6. Raisins (Unakka Munthiri)     10    g
  7. Cashew Nuts     10    g
  8. Crushed Cardamom Seeds (Elakka)     4    nos.


  1. Keep a pan on fire and melt the Jaggery by adding enough water and keep aside.
  2. Boil water and keep the ada in it till its cooked soft.
  3. Drain and keep it aside.
  4. Boil the second coconut milk,then add ada.
  5. Stir it continously.
  6. Mix the melted jaggery with the cooked ada.
  7. Boil this until it becomes thick.
  8. Pour the first coconut milk and remove from the fire.
  9. Add the fried cashew nuts,raisins and crushed cardamom.
  10. Serve it hot.
