Sweet Potato Paratha

Ingredients: 

  1. Sweet Potato     250    g
  2. Wheat Flour (Atta)     2    cups
  3. Green Cardamoms     4    nos.
  4. Jaggery(Sarkkara)     100    g
  5. Oil     2    tbsp
  6. Salt to taste    ½    tsp

Description:
 

  1. Cook sweet potato in pressure cooker.
  2. Peel off the skin and mash it well.
  3. Mix jaggery along with sweet potato mash and heat it until it becomes a dough.
  4. Add powdered green cardamom and keep aside for one hour.Make small balls from the ingredient.
  5. Sift wheat flour and salt.
  6. Knead to a dough of rolling consistency.
  7. Make balls and prepare parathas.
  8. Put jaggery-sweet potato mix on each paratha.Close the sides of paratha and cnce again prepare1/4" thickness of paratha.
  9. Cook it on a heated pan by pouring oil mixture around the paratha until it becomes golden brown in colour.
