  1. Lady's Finger     10    nos.
  2. Tomato     1    no.
  3. Onion     1    no.
  4. Green Chillies -sliced    3    no.
  5. Curry Leaves     1    stalks
  6. Chilli Powder     1    tsp
  7. Turmeric Powder     ½    tsp
  8. Coriander Powder     1    tbsp
  9. Masala Powder    1    tsp
  10. Coconut Milk     2    cup
  11. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  12. Oil     2    tbsp


  1. Clean and cut the lady’s finger into 1" inch pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan,fry the ladys finger and keep aside.
  3. In the same pan fry the onion, green chilli and curry leaves on a low flame till transparent.
  4. Now aad all the powders except salt. After a minuteadd the tomato and saute till the skin peels off.
  5. Now add 1 cup of water and cook covered on a low flame for 5 minutes till it gets mushy.
  6. Add fried lady's finger salt and the coconut milk mix well. And let it simmer for 2-3 more minutes.
  7. Remove and serve with rice.
