Fish Ball Curry

  1. Neymeen     ½    Kg
  2. Pepper Powder     2    tsp
  3. Turmeric Powder     1    tsp
  4. Curry Leaves  Finely Chopped     3    stalks
  5. Coriander Leaves  Finely Chopped     ½    cup
  6. Corn Flour     2    tbsp
  7. For the gravy
    1. Onion  Cut in to small pieces    1    no.
    2. Garlic      ½    tbsp
    3. Ginger      ½    tbsp
    4. Green Chillies  Cut lengthwise    2    no.
    5. Curry Leaves      2    stalks
    6. Tomato  Cut in to small pieces    1    no.
    7. Coriander Leaves      2    stalks
    8. Coconut Milk      1    cup
    9. Corn Flour      ½    tsp
    10. Oil      2    tbsp
    11. Salt to taste      ½    tsp


  1. Cook fish by adding salt and turmeric powder. Keep aside the fish stock.
  2. Remove the bones of the fish. Knead well the flesh of the fish with hands. Add pepper powder,coriander leaves and curry leaves. Mix it well.
  3. Make small balls out of this mixture. Dilute corn flour in water. Dip the fish balls in this batter and roast in the oil.
  4. Heat oil in a non stick pan. In the oil saute ingredients from 7 to 11. Add tomatoes when it is saute. Add the fish stock.
  5. When it is boiled add cornflour diluted in water. When the gravy is thick,add one spoon pepper powder and coconut milk. Let it boil.
  6. Add fish balls into this gravy. Sprinkle some coriander leaves. Serve hot.
