  1. For the cake
    1. Large Apple      5    nos.
    2. Water      ½    cup
    3. Caster sugar      ½    cup
  2. For the cake
    1. Sifted Flour      6    tbsp
    2. Egg      3    nos.
    3. Sifted Corn Flour      4    tbsp
    4. Caster sugar      ½    cup


  1. Peel, core, quarter and slic the apples. Mix with the sugar and water in a pan. Cover and cook till the apples are tender.
  2. Pour the hot apple mixture in to an ovenproof dish.
  3. For the topping, beat the eggs until thick and creamy.
  4. Add the sugar and beat till it gets dissolved.
  5. Stir in the sifted flour and cornflour and baking powder.
  6. spread the topping over the hot apple mixture.
  7. Bake at 180°c for about 25 minutes. Serve.
