  1. Raw Rice(Pachari)     1    cup
  2. Sugar     250    g
  3. Milk     1    litre
  4. Cardamom(Elakka) Powder     1    tsp


  1. Boil the milk. Now keep aside 1/2 the boiled milk.
  2. Clean the rice in fresh water.
  3. Boil Water separately. When the water starts to boil, add the cleaned rice. Stir it. Half cook the rice.
  4. Once the rice is half cooked, add the milk. Keep stirring for 10 minutes continuously.
  5. Add the sugar after 10 minutes& then bring it to a boil.
  6. Pour the remaining milk kept aside& Stir for another 2 minutes.
  7. Swith off the gas&then add the elaichi powder.
  8. Serve hot.
