  1. Tapioca(Kappa) -Cleaned and cut into medium pieces    1    Kg
  2. Turmeric Powder     1    pinch
  3. Garlic     15    cloves
  4. Small Onion / Shallot     4    nos.
  5. Ginger     1    piece
  6. Curry Leaves     2    stalks
  7. Coconut Oil     2    tsp
  8. Salt to taste     1    tsp


  1. Cook the kappa adding enough water,turmeric powder and salt.
  2. Drain the excess water. Keep it aside.
  3. Crush the small onion, garlic and ginger.
  4. Heat oil in wok,add this mixture and fry until it turns brown.
  5. Add curry leaves and above prepared kappa.
  6. Mix it well and keep it on low fire for 2 minutes .
  7. Remove it from fire and serve it hot.
