Ingredients: 

  1. Vermicelli     1    cup
  2. Coconut Milk (First Milk)     ½    litre
  3. Coconut Milk (Second Milk)    1½    litre
  4. Roasted Cashew Nuts     10    g
  5. Roasted Raisins (Unakka Munthiri)     10    g
  6. Crushed Cardamom Seeds (Elakka)     5    nos.
  7. Ghee for frying    1    tbsp
  8. Sugar     3    cups

Description:
 

  1. Fry vermicelli in ghee for two minutes.
  2. Boil the second coconut milk with vermicilly.
  3. Once the vermicelli is cooked add the sugar and stir well till the sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Pour the first coconut milk.
  5. Add the cardamom powder and remove from the fire.
  6. Garnish with nuts and raisins and mix it well.
  7. Serve hot or chilled.
