  1. Beef Cut lengthwise    1    Kg
  2. Chick Peas(Kadala)     4    cups
  3. Green Chillies Cut lengthwise into two    4    nos.
  4. Onion  Finely Chopped     4    nos.
  5. Ginger -chopped    2    pieces
  6. Garlic -chopped    12    cloves
  7. Chilli Powder     2    tbsp
  8. Coriander Powder     4    tbsp
  9. Turmeric Powder     1    tsp
  10. Pepper Powder     1    tsp
  11. Garam Masala     1    tsp
  12. Chicken Noodles Masala (Optional)    1    tbsp
  13. Curry Leaves     4    stalks
  14. Fried Coconut Strips     ½    cup
  15. Mustard Seeds     2    tsp
  16. Oil     2    tbsp
  17. Salt to taste     ½    tsp


  1. Wash and soak chick peas in water overnight. Then pressure cook the chickpeas with salt and sufficient water for 5 to 6 whistles.
  2. Heat oil in a non stick pan, splutter mustard seeds. Then add curry leaves,ginger and garlic and saute well till fragrant.
  3. Into this add chopped onion and green chilli and again saute till it turns golden brown.
  4. Then add chilli powder,coriander powder and turmeric powder and saute till the raw smell goes. Add cooked beef and chickpea and mix well.
  5. Then add pepper powder and chicken noodles masala and stir to combine.
  6. Finally add fried coconut pieces and salt (if needed) and mix well. When it is done turn off the stove and transfer the curry into a serving vessel.
  7. Serve hot along with best combination.
