Ingredients: 

  1. Basmati Rice     2    cups
  2. Boneless Pork Cut in to cubes    ½    Kg
  3. Onion -chopped    2    nos.
  4. Ginger Garlic Paste     1    tsp
  5. Black pepper     ½    tsp
  6. Turmeric Powder     ½    tsp
  7. Cashew Nuts     ½    cup
  8. Poppey Seeds     2    tsp
  9. Cinnamon Pieces (Patta)     1    pieces
  10. Dried Red Chilli     5    nos.
  11. Bay leaves     2    no.
  12. Coriander Leaves     2    stalks
  13. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  14. Coconut Oil     2    tbsp

Description:
 

  1. Wash and soak basmati rice for some time. Drain and keep it aside.
  2. Grind cashew nuts, poppy seeds, cinnamon,cloves, dry chillies and black pepper together into fine paste.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaves, onion, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder fry till it becomes translucent.
  4. Add ground paste and stir fry for few minutes.
  5. Then add pork pieces and fry for sometime till light brown.
  6. Add the washed rice and fry for 5 minutes.Add salt.
  7. Add 4 cups of water and simmer till cooked.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
