Ingredients: 

  1. Vermicelli     100    g
  2. Milk     1½    litre
  3. Sugar     500    g
  4. Roasted Cashew Nuts     10    g
  5. Roasted Raisins (Unakka Munthiri)     10    g
  6. Crushed Cardamom Seeds (Elakka)     5    nos.
  7. Ghee for frying    2    tbsp
  8. Butter     ½    tsp

Description:
 

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and slightly roast the vermicelli and keep aside.
  2. Boil the milk in a vessel or Uruli.
  3. Add the vermicelli and cook it in a medium fire.
  4. Stir it well till it become soft.
  5. Add sugar and mix it well.
  6. Finally add the crushed cardomom and butter.
  7. Garnish with nuts and raisins and serve it hot.
