  1. For Dough
    1. Maida      ¾    cup
    2. Wheat Flour (Atta)      ¾    cup
    3. Salt to taste      ½    tsp
    4. Water      1    cup
    5. Oil      2    tbsp
  2. For Filling
    1. Minced Beef      250    g
    2. Pepper Powder      1    tsp
    3. Turmeric Powder      ½    tsp
    4. Salt to taste      ½    tsp
    5. Onion   Finely Chopped     1    nos.
    6. Ginger Garlic Paste      1    tsp
    7. Tomato  -chopped    1    no.
    8. Green Chillies      3    nos.
    9. Chilli Powder      1    tsp
    10. Coriander Powder      1    tsp
    11. Garam Masala  Powder    ½    tsp
    12. Coriander Leaves  -chopped    2    stalks
  3. Egg     1    nos.
  4. Oil For deep frying     1    cup


  1. Make a dough with plain flour, wheat flour, salt and the oil adding enough water to make a firm dough. Set aside for about 20 minutes.
  2. Cook beef with turmeric powder, pepper powder and salt.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add onion, ginger garlic paste and green chillies and fry until golden color.
  4. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder. Cooked beef and chopped tomato cook until all water is absorbed. Add coriander leaves and remove from heat.
  5. Divide the dough into round portions. Roll them in to thin circles and add the beef mixture filling on one side.
  6. Fold it in to half moon shape and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
  7. Beat egg with 1/4 tsp chilly powder, 1 tbsp milk and salt.Dip ada into this mixture deep fry till golden brown. Serve hot.
