  1. Boiled Egg     5    no.
  2. Small  Button Mushroom     250    g
  3. Onion     3    nos.
  4. Garlic     1    tbsp
  5. Ginger     1    tbsp
  6. Tomato     1    nos.
  7. Curry Leaves     2    stalks
  8. Turmeric Powder     ½    tsp
  9. Chilli Powder     1    tbsp
  10. Coriander Powder     1    tsp
  11. Oil     3    tbsp
  12. Salt to taste     ½    tsp


  1. Wash and cut the mushrooms and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in pan, add saute sliced onion,garlic, ginger and curry leaves. stir it well.
  3. When onions turn almost brown, add the chilly powder,turmeric powder and coriander powder and saute for one minute till the raw smell goes.
  4. Add tomatoes, 1/2 cup water,salt and the mushrooms.
  5. Cook covered for few minutes.Mix well so that the tomatoes become mushy and oil starts to separate.
  6. Add boiled egg and mix well.
  7. Egg and mushroom roast is ready to serve.
