  1. Ripe Banana     2    nos.
  2. Rice Flour     ¼    cup
  3. Atta Powder    2    tbsp
  4. Bread Crumbs     1    cup
  5. Cardamom(Elakka) Powder     ¼    tsp
  6. Sugar     ¼    cup
  7. Coconut     ½    cup
  8. Ghee     1    tsp
  9. Plain Flour     3    tbsp
  10. Oil for deep frying    1    cup


  1. Place rice flour in a large bowl. Rub in ghee so that the flour will look like bread crumbs. Add in desiccated coconut, sugar, mashed banana, and make dough.
  2. Make small balls out of the dough, and shape them into cutlets. Keep aside.
  3. To prepare the batter, combine plain flour and enough water.
  4. Meanwhile heat oil in a deep bottomed pan. When the oil is hot enough, dip the prepared cutlets in batter, roll in bread crumbs, and deep fry. Serve it hot.
