  1. Mushroom     300    g
  2. Cumin Seeds     ½    tsp
  3. Onion     2    nos.
  4. Ginger Garlic Paste     1    tsp
  5. Chilli Powder     1    tsp
  6. Turmeric Powder     ½    tsp
  7. Coriander Powder     2    tsp
  8. Garam Masala Powder    1    tsp
  9. Capsicum -chopped    1    no.
  10. Tomato  Finely Chopped     3    nos.
  11. Tomato Ketchup     2    tbsp
  12. Coriander Leaves     ½    cup
  13. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  14. Oil     1    tbsp


  1. Clean the mushrooms in cold water and tap them with towel and place it in a bowl. Cut mushrooms into half.
  2. Heat a kadai and pour oil. Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
  3. Add the chopped onions and saute well till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes.
  4. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder. Saute in low flame for 2 mins.
  5. Then add chopped tomatoes and capsicum. Add salt and saute till oil leaves out from sides in kadai.
  6. Add tomato ketchup and saute for 2 mins. Add cleaned mushroom and nicely mix all the ingredients together.
  7. Close it with a lid and allow it to cook for 5 minutes in low flame.
  8. If you find the gravy too thick, add 1/2 cup of warm water.
  9. Garnish gravy with freshly cleaned and chopped coriander leaves.
  10. Kadai mushroom is ready to serve.
