  1. Prawns     ½    Kg
  2. Pepper Powder     1    tsp
  3. Ginger paste     1    tsp
  4. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  5. Soya Sauce     2    tsp
  6. Green Chillies Slices    5    nos.
  7. Egg Whites     1    no.
  8. Maida     1    tsp
  9. Corn Flour     1    tbsp
  10. Garlic -chopped    2    tbsp
  11. Onion finely chopped    1    no.
  12. Green Chillies sliced    5    nos.
  13. Tomato Sauce     2    tbsp
  14. Red Chilly Sauce     1    tbsp
  15. Soya Sauce     1    tsp
  16. Red Chilli Powder paste    1    tsp


  1. Clean and devein the prawns. Marinate prawns with ginger paste, pepper powder, soya sauce, green chilly sauce, egg white and salt. Mix well and keep it in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  2. Then add plain flour and cornflour and combine well. Deep fry the marinated prawns in hot oil for 2 minutes. Fry it slightly only, dont over fry the prawns it turn rubbery.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp of sesame oil in a deep bottam sauce pan. Add chopped garlic and saute it for a minute, then add chopped onion combine well and add green chillies.
  4. Saute it for few minute. Do not over cook onions. Now add in tomato sauce, red chilly sauce and remaining soya sauce .Combine well.
  5. Then add in red chilly paste mix well. Pour fish stock and allow it to boil.
  6. Add the fried prawns and mix well, until the chilly sauce is well coated on the prawns.
  7. Add vinegar and sugar, mix well. Then garnish it with spring onions. Serve it hot.
