  1. Idly     7    nos.
  2. Besan flour     1    cup
  3. Chilli Powder     ½    tsp
  4. Green Chillies -chopped    2    nos.
  5. Ginger -chopped    1    pieces
  6. Curry Leaves     1    stalks
  7. Dalda     1    tsp
  8. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  9. Oil for frying    1    cup


  1. Mix besan flour, ginger, chilli powder, green chilli, curry leaves and heated dalda to form a thick batter.
  2. Then cut the ldli and dip it in the batter and fry in oil.
  3. You can serve this hot with chutney.
