Carrot Pachadi Style-1

  1. Carrot     3    nos.
  2. To grind to a fine paste
    1. Grated Coconut      1    cup
    2. Yoghurt      ¾    cup
    3. Cumin Seeds      ¼    tsp
    4. Mustard Seeds      ¼    tsp
  3. Green Chillies     3    nos.
  4. Water     ¼    cup
  5. Coconut Oil     2    tsp
  6. Curry Leaves     1    stalks
  7. Dry Red Chillies     2    nos.
  8. Mustard Seeds     ½    tsp


  1. Grind coconut with cumin seeds, yoghurt and mustard seeds to a smooth paste.
  2. Cook the finely chopped carrot adding green chilly, salt. and water for about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the ground coconut paste. Cook for a minute. Switch off.
  4. Heat coconut oil in a pan , splutter mustard seeds and fry dry red chilies and curry leaves. Pour over the prepared pachadi.
  5. Carrot pachadi is ready to serve.
