Ingredients: 

  1. Chembin Thal     5    nos.
  2. Oil     2    tbsp
  3. Mustard Seeds     ½    tsp
  4. Dry Red Chillies     3    nos.
  5. Raw Rice     1    tsp
  6. Small Onion / Shallot sliced    1    cup
  7. Green Chillies sliced    5    nos.
  8. Curry Leaves     1    stalks
  9. Turmeric Powder     1    pinch
  10. Grated Coconut     1    cup
  11. Salt to taste     ½    tsp

Description:
 

  1. Wash the thaalu. Chop them into thin pieces. Keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds. Add in the raw rice and dry red chillies and brown them.
  3. Now add ingredients 1-4 and grated coconut along with turmeric powder and salt. Cover and cook at low heat for a minutes.
  4. Open and stir fry until it is dry and cooked well. Serve with rice
