  1. For marination
    1. Fish      ½    Kg
    2. Turmeric Powder      1    pinch
    3. Chilli Powder      1    tsp
    4. Salt to taste      ½    tsp
  2. For Batter
    1. Corn Flour      3    tsp
    2. Maida      1    tsp
    3. Rice Flour      1    tsp
    4. Pepper Powder      1    tsp
    5. Ginger Garlic Paste      1    tsp
    6. Water as required      ½    cup
    7. Salt to taste      ½    tsp
  3. For Munchurian
    1. Ginger  -chopped    1    tsp
    2. Garlic  -chopped    1    tsp
    3. Green Chillies  -chopped    2    tbsp
    4. Chilly Sauce      1    tsp
    5. Tomato Sauce      2    tbsp
    6. Soya Sauce      1    tsp
    7. Onion  -chopped    1    nos.
    8. Vinegar      1    tsp
    9. Sugar      1    pinch
  4. Oil for deep frying    4    tbsp


  1. Marinate the fish pieces with the ingredients under marination. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Make the batter with the ingredients under batter. In a kadai, pour oil and heat it.
  3. Dip the marinated fish pieces in the batter and fry in the oil. Filter out excess oil with a kitchen towel.
  4. In another pan, add little oil, when hot add the onions, garlic, ginger, green chilies, spring onions .
  5. When the onion becomes transparent, add the sauces and vinegar, sugar and mix well. Finally add the fish pieces and again mix it.
  6. Garnish with some spring onions and serve hot.
