Pepper Prawn Fried Rice

  1. Prawns     1    Kg
  2. Basmati Rice     3    cup
  3. Onion     1    nos.
  4. Garlic  Finely Chopped     1    tsp
  5. Green Chillies     3    nos.
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste     1    tsp
  7. Curry Leaves     1    stalks
  8. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  9. Oil     2    tbsp
  10. Ghee     2    tbsp
  11. White Pepper Powder     ½    tsp
  12. Coriander Leaves -chopped    2    stalks
  13. Water     4    cups


  1. In a pan , add ghee and rice and fry for 3 minutes. Cook the rice with 3 cups of water.
  2. In a kadai, and onion, garlic , green chillies , garlic paste, curry leaves, prawns, salt and cook, till prawns becomes curved.
  3. Add the pepper powders and mix well and again cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add the boiled rice to this gravy and mix thoroughly and serve hot with any raitha.
