Honey Chilli Potato

  1. Potato sliced    3    nos.
  2. Corn Flour     1    tbsp
  3. Chilli Powder     2    tsp
  4. Garlic -chopped    2    tbsp
  5. Dry Red Chillies     2    nos.
  6. Ginger     1    tsp
  7. Chilli flakes     1    tsp
  8. Tomato Sauce     2    tbsp
  9. Chilly Sauce     1    tbsp
  10. Vinegar     1    tsp
  11. Honey     3    tbsp
  12. Spring Onion -chopped    2    stalks
  13. Roasted sesame seeds     3    tsp
  14. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  15. Oil     1    tbsp


  1. Take two potatoes and cut them into slices in a bowl. In the bowl add corn flour, salt and red chilli powder.
  2. Toss them well so that the mixture coats the sliced potatoes properly. Now heat oil in a broad pan and deep fry the potatoes on medium flame till golden brown and crisp.
  3. Do not fry on high flame otherwise they will burn from outside and remain uncooked from inside.
  4. In another pan dry roast the sesame seeds on low heat till light brown and keep aside. Heat oil and add garlic, ginger, whole red chilles, chilli flakes and tomato sauce. Stir well.
  5. Now add chilli sauce, vinegar, honey and salt. Mix all the ingredients well to make a sauce.
  6. Add the fried potatoes and coat them well with the sauce. Toss well and sprinkle the roasted sesame seeds and spring onions.
  7. Combine the ingredients well and serve the crunchy honey chilli potatoes immediately. Serve it.
