  1. Maida     1    cups
  2. Egg     2    nos.
  3. Milk     1    cup
  4. Butter     3    tbsp
  5. Grated Coconut     1    cup
  6. Ripe Banana -chopped    3    nos.
  7. Cashew Nuts     10    g
  8. Sugar     2    tbsp
  9. Cardamom(Elakka) Powder     1    pinch
  10. Salt to taste     ½    tsp


  1. Cut the bananas into small pieces keep it aside.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan. Add cashew nuts, grated coconut and sugar into it and fry for 3 minutes.
  3. Then add banana pieces and cardamom powder into it and fry for 5 minutes on a low flame.Switch off the flame.This filling is ready.
  4. Break the egg into a bowl and beat it well. add the flour and salt into it and mix well. Add enough milk and prepare a smooth batter.
  5. The batter should be thinner than the dosa batter. Heat a non stick frying pan and pour a spoonful of batter in the center, spread with the back of the spoon to a thin round . keep on medium flame.
  6. When it is cooked on one side, place a 3 tbsp spoon of banana coconut filling on the pancake and roll it.
  7. Repeat the same process with the remaining pancake batter and banana coconut filling. Banana filling pancake is ready. Serve it hot.
