  1. Mushroom     200    g
  2. Onion     2    nos.
  3. Coconut sliced    ½    cup
  4. Turmeric Powder     ½    tsp
  5. Red Chilli Powder     2    tsp
  6. Coriander Powder     ½    tsp
  7. Oil     2    tbsp
  8. Mustard Seeds     ½    tsp
  9. Salt to taste     ½    tsp


  1. In a mixing bowl, add the sliced mushroom, onion, coconut slices, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, coriander powder and salt mix well and set aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. When hot, add mustard seeds and wait for it to splutter.
  3. Next add the marinated mushroom mixture. Cook this until mushrooms are soft, at medium heat.
  4. Make sure you stir the mushroom occasionally. Cook for another 10 minutes at high heat to get a crispy texture.
  5. Serve with rice.
