Mushroom Green Peas Kuruma

Ingredients: 

  1. Mushroom     200    g
  2. Green Peas Cooked    1    cups
  3. Onion Finely sliced    2    nos.
  4. Ginger     1    pieces
  5. Garlic     3    cloves
  6. Green Chillies     5    nos.
  7. Cashew Nuts     10    g
  8. Thick Coconut Milk     1    cups
  9. Coriander Leaves     2    stalks
  10. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  11. Water     1    cup
  12. Oil     2    tbsp

Description:
 

  1. Grind together , ginger, garlic, green chilly and soaked cashew nuts to a smooth paste with little water. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in pan and sauté thinly sliced onions until transparent. Add the ground paste and cook for 3 minutes at medium heat.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for 10 minutes. Next add salt and water. Cook covered until mushrooms are cooked through.
  4. Open lid and add cooked green peas. Mix and bring to a boil. Add thick coconut milk and bring to boiling.
  5. Switch off flame and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve it hot.
