Boil water in a vessel adding ¼ tsp turmeric powder and enough salt. Put the cauliflower florets in boiling water and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
Drain and set aside. Heat 2 tsp coconut oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds and fry dried red chillies. Next fry coconut slices until golden.
Add ginger, garlic onion, curry leaves and little salt sauté until onion starts to change color. Add turmeric powder, kashmiri chilly powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder. Sauté for a minute.
Sprinkle a tbsp of water and mix well. next add cooked cauliflower florets and mix everything well.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes at medium heat stirring in between. Open the lid, add freshly ground pepper powder and mix well.
Stir for a minute and switch off. This spicy and delicious cauliflower pepper fry goes really well with rice.
