  1. Milk     1    litre
  2. Dry Red Currants     10    g
  3. Pistachios(Pista)     10    g
  4. Sugar     1    cup
  5. Saffron     1    pinch
  6. Almonds     10    g
  7. Raisins (Unakka Munthiri)     10    g
  8. Dry Apricot     10    g
  9. Cardamom(Elakka) Powder     1    tsp


  1. Pour hot water in a bowl and add dried apricots, raisins and red currants to soak for 10 minutes.
  2. Take a pan and add milk. Boil the milk for 5 minutes and then add cardamom powder and saffron.
  3. Again boil it for 5 minutes. Strains the fruits and add them to the milk. Next let them cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add ½ cup cup of sugar and mix well. Add almonds and pista and boil for 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer into a bowl and serve it with almonds on top. Serve it.
