Garlic Paneer

Ingredients: 

  1. Paneer     1    cup
  2. Garlic     5    cloves
  3. Vinegar     1    tsp
  4. Kashmiri Red Chillies     7    nos.
  5. Sugar     1    tsp
  6. Cumin Seeds     ½    tsp
  7. Onion -chopped    1    cup
  8. Coriander Leaves -chopped    2    stalks
  9. Salt to taste     ½    tsp
  10. Oil     2    tbsp

Description:
 

  1. Cut the paneer into bite sized cubes and set aside. To a small grinding jar, add the dried chillies, garlic, sugar, vinegar and salt, along with 3 tbsp of water.
  2. Grind all the contents to from a paste. Heat the oil in a pan.
  3. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter. Now add the onions and sauté until golden in colour.
  4. Pour in the prepared chilli and garlic paste to the pan. Cook until the paste thickens and the oil starts to separate from the paste. Add the paneer cubes in and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
