Nethili Meen Fry

Ingredients: 

  1. Netholi     ½    Kg
  2. Curry Leaves     2    stalks
  3. Oil for frying    1    cup
  4. For marination
    1. Red Chilli Powder      2    tsp
    2. Rice Flour      1    tsp
    3. Ginger Garlic Paste      1    tsp
    4. Turmeric Powder      ½    tsp
    5. Red food colouring      1    pinch
    6. Lemon Juice      1    tsp
    7. Salt to taste      ½    tsp

Description:
 

  1. Clean the fish, pat dry and place it on a bowl.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and add in fish.
  3. Mix well and keep aside for ½ hour for good marination.
  4. Drop it one by one in the hot oil. Keep it for 5 minutes. Fry in small flame in batches.
  5. Until it became crispy golden brown. Flip it and add in curry leaves and mix well. Drain it and place on kitchen towel to absorb extra oil.
  6. Now the Nethili dry is ready to serve chopped onions.
