  1. Brinjal Medium Size    2    nos.
  2. Chilli Powder     ¼    tsp
  3. Turmeric Powder     2    pinch
  4. Asafoetida     1    pinch
  5. Oil     2    tbsp
  6. Salt to taste     3    pinch


  1. Wash and slice the brinjals into thin round slices.
  2. In a bowl mix together chilli powder,turmeric powder,asafoetida and salt adding 2 tsp water and 1 tsp oil.Then add brinjal and mix it well.Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat remaining oil in a pan and fry the brinjal.
  4. Drain it on an absorbent paper and serve it.
