  1. Cucumber     500    g
  2. Green Chillies -chopped    8    nos.
  3. Grated Coconut     ½    cup
  4. Red Chillies     4    nos.
  5. Mustard Seeds     1    tsp
  6. Curd     2    cups
  7. Ghee     1    tsp


  1. Peel and remove the seeds of cucumber and cut into very thin long pieces.
  2. Cook the Cucumber with salt by adding enough water and keep it aside.
  3. Grind the coconut with green chillies to a fine paste.
  4. Add this mixture in to the cooked cucumber.
  5. Pour the curd and mix it well.
  6. Heat Ghee in a wok and add mustard seeds allow it to splutter.
  7. Add dry chilly ,curry leaves,fry it well.
  8. Cucumber Kichady is ready to serve.
