  1. Brinjal sliced    ¼    Kg
  2. To Prepare Batter
    1. Gram Flour(Besan Flour)      1    cup
    2. Asafoetida      2    pinch
    3. Chilli Powder      1    tsp
    4. Soda Powder      ¼    tsp
    5. Salt to taste      ½    tsp
    6. Cumin Seeds Powder      1    pinch
  3. Oil     1    cup


  1. In a bowl,mix together the second ingredients and add water.And prepare medium thick batter.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai,dip the brinjal pieces in the batter and fry until golden colour.
  3. Remove and drain on an absorbent paper.
  4. Serve with best combinations.
