  1. Beef     ½    Kg
  2. Cooked Potato     ¼    Kg
  3. Chopped Onion     ¼    Kg
  4. Green Chillies     7    nos.
  5. Chopped Ginger     1    tsp
  6. Chopped Garlic     3    cloves
  7. Curry Leaves     2    stalks
  8. Chilli Powder     1    tsp
  9. Pepper Powder     2    tsp
  10. Turmeric Powder     ¼    tsp
  11. Garam Masala     ½    tsp
  12. Salt to taste     1    tsp
  13. Beaten Egg     2    nos.
  14. Bread Crumbs     4    tbsp
  15. Oil     ¼    cup


  1. Clean and cut the beef into big pieces.
  2. Pressure cook the beef with pepper powder,turmeric powder and salt,till it turns tender.Keep aside and let it cool.
  3. After cooling down, mince the beef with green chillies.
  4. Heat 2 tbsp. of oil in a wok,add the chopped onion,ginger,curry leaves and garlic.Stir fry for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the minced beef and stir fry it till becomes dry.
  6. Add chilli powder,turmeric powder, garam masala,pepper powder and salt.Mix it well for a few minutes and keep it aside.Let it cool
  7. Add the mashed potatoes into the beef and mix well.
  8. Shape the mixture into cutlets.
  9. Dip it in the beaten egg and then roll in the bread crumbs.
  10. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cutlet till golden brown.
  11. Drain on kitchen paper and serve it hot with sauce.
