Prawn Fried Rice

  1. Prawns     500    g
  2. Basmati Rice     3    cups
  3. Minced Garlic     1    tsp
  4. Spring Onion -chopped    ¼    cup
  5. Carrot -chopped    ¼    cup
  6. Minced Ginger     1    tsp
  7. Green Beans -chopped    ¼    cup
  8. Spring Onion -chopped    ¼    cup
  9. Capsicum -chopped    ¼    cup
  10. Green Chillies -chopped    3    nos.
  11. Pepper Powder     ¼    tsp
  12. Red Chillies paste    1    tsp
  13. Soya Sauce     1    tsp
  14. Ghee     1½    tbsp
  15. Vinegar     1    tbsp
  16. Tomato Ketchup     1    tbsp
  17. Oil     1    tbsp


  1. Wash and drain the rice and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Add 6 cups of water and enough salt to rice and cook till done.
  3. Mean while,marinate the prawns in tomato sauce,soya sauce, vinegar, and red chilli paste for 20 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a wok,add the garlic and ginger stir for a few seconds.
  5. Add the spring onion whites and green chillies,stir for 4 minutes.
  6. Add the marinated prawns and salt, stir it well.Cook on medium heat till done, stirring constantly.Keep it aside.
  7. Heat ghee in a thick -bottomed pan,add spring onion,srit for 2 minutes
  8. Add vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
  9. Then add little salt and pepper powder.Mix it well.
  10. Add the prepared prawns, mix together.And cook for 3 minutes.
  11. Add cooked rice and mix it well.Leave on medium high for 5 minutes.Turn off flame.
  12. Prawns fried rice is ready.
  13. Serve with best combinations.
