  1. Neymeen     ½    Kg
  2. Grated Coconut     2    cup
  3. Small Onion / Shallot sliced    5    nos.
  4. Tomato -chopped    1    no.
  5. Chilli Powder     2    tbsp
  6. Coriander Powder     3    tbsp
  7. Turmeric Powder     1    tsp
  8. Fenugreek Powder     ½    tsp
  9. Tamarind Medium lemon sized ball    1    no.
  10. Curry Leaves     2    stalks
  11. Coconut Oil     2    tbsp
  12. Salt to taste     ½    tsp


  1. Heat Oil in a pan fry the coconut.
  2. Add small Onion and tamarind,fry till golden brown.
  3. Add chilly powder,coriander powder and turmeric powder.
  4. Add chilly powder,coriander powder and turmeric powder.
  5. Remove from fire and allow it to cool.
  6. Grind it a fine paste.
  7. Add 11/2 cup water, fennu greek powder,salt& curry leaves.
  8. Allow it to boil in a manchatty,then add tomatoes and fish pieces.
  9. Cook it on slow fire till the gravy thickens.
  10. Serve with boiled rice.
