  1. Sugar     3    cups
  2. Water     1    cups
  3. Ground blanched almonds     4    cups


  1. Heat sugar in a pan together with water and prepare the sugar syrup.
  2. Add the almonds and cook it until the batter stops sticking to the pan.
  3. Remove from heat and place onto a wooden board or a sheet pan.

  5. Store in an airtight container.
  6. Marzipan can be softened by adding small amounts of sugar syrup to it, if too soft add additional powdered sugar to it.
