  1. For Dough
    1. Maida      350    g
    2. Kesari Colour      1    pinch
    3. Gingelly Oil      1    tbsp
  2. Ripe Banana     2    nos.
  3. Grated Coconut     1    cup
  4. Ghee     2    tsp
  5. Cardamom(Elakka) Powder     1    pinch
  6. Rice Powder     2    tbsp
  7. Sugar Powder    150    g


  1. Mix together all the ingredients of no.1 adding enough water and prepare smooth dough.Keep it aside.
  2. Grind the coconut.
  3. Peel and cut the bananas and steam cook it.After it is cool, grind well.
  4. Heat ghee in a wok,add banana and stir for 10 minutes.
  5. Add sugar and ground coconut,stir it well till thickens.Finally add cardamom powder.Mix it well.
  6. Make small balls from above mixture.
  7. Divide the prepared dough into small portions and roll each one into a round ball.
  8. Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball into a small round shape and place the banana ball.And again ball it.
  9. Dip a flattened ball into the rice flour and coat it on all sides.
  10. Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball into a round shape.
  11. Heat the Tawa on medium heat.
  12. Place the rolled bolli on the Tawa.
  13. Smear the bolli with a little ghee and flip over.
  14. Again smear the other side with a little ghee and flip over again.
  15. Sprinkle little sugar powder and fold it into half.Remove from the fire.
  16. Let it cool and enjoy.
